Browse and manage assets in AssetPilot

Inventory → Assets lists every asset on your Jira site. Search, filter and sort to find one asset, or select many to change them together.

The Assets list with three rows selected and the bulk bar open at the bottom.

Find assets

  • Search matches tag, name and serial number as you type.
  • Filters narrow the list by Type, Status, Location and Assignee. Assignee offers Anyone, Unassigned, Me or a specific person.
  • Sort by Tag, Name, Type, Status, Assignee, Location or Updated by selecting a column header.
  • Clear filters resets the view.

The list shows 50 assets per page. Select a tag to open the asset record.

Pick your columns

Use the column chooser next to Export CSV to show or hide columns.

Row actions

Each row has a ⋯ menu with the actions that make sense for the asset's current state: Check out, Check in, Change status, Edit and Delete. Viewers see the list without these menus.

Bulk changes

Select rows with the checkboxes. A bar appears at the bottom of the page:

ActionWhat happens
Change statusMoves every selected asset to the chosen lifecycle status.
Move to locationSets the same location on every selected asset.
DeleteDeletes the selected assets after you confirm.
ClearDeselects everything.

Every bulk change is recorded per asset in the audit log.

Export to CSV

Export CSV downloads every asset that matches the current search and filters, across all pages, as assets-<date>.csv. Use it for reporting, audits or as a backup before large changes.

Empty state and dark mode

On a phone

On narrow screens the table turns into cards with the type icon, tag, status and assignee. Filters become chips and actions move to a bar at the bottom.
